FLOWLIFE BUMZ BIOGRAPHY:

Flowlife Bumz is a Belgian producer/turntablist quartet consisting of Vers-A-Tell, Tradd, HungryMan XXL and MixMonsterMenno, three core members of DJ Grazzhoppa’s DJ Bigband. After the critically acclaimed Global Relationz 12” (2005) and the Dinner@tableN°9 EP (2006), Bumz Galore is the group’s first full album and features guest spots for internationally known artists such as Count Bass D, Trunks and DJ Grazzhoppa.

The album has a sound that is both uncompromising and up-to-date at the same time: think boombap hiphop, based on the genre’s golden era without being stuck in the past. The Bumz’ rugged productions are complemented by mc’s Kice Of Course, the South-African Sole (Hyphlife) and their Digsville label mates Rubski and Acrid Cast.

The Bumz bring a live show that exceeds the classic ‘two turntables and a microphone’ hiphop standard: all songs are performed live on several drum machines and a turntable/Serato setup by all four Bumz with guest appearances for affiliate artists such as DJ Grazzhoppa, DYNOOO, Paolo the Madd Emcee, BEAT DRUNX and others.
